Scotty Back Pack Systems

Scotty Back Pack Systems are manufacturered from tarpaulin cloth making them more comfortable as they mould around the body, which in turn means the water contained inside helps cool the firefighter. The large 19 litre capacity allows for maximum duration in the field.

Optional Uses

  • Fitted with a conventional water pump, the Scotty 4220 is a standard backpack which can pump plain water or be dosed with 100 to 200 m/l Class A Foam Concentrate.
  • Fitted with a water pump with an integral foam inductor, a 200 m/l foam concentrate bottle plus an aerating foam nozzle, the 4219 produces Class A Foam.
  • Filled with Class A Foam Concentrate, the Scotty 4203 (a bag only) becomes a foam reservoir which can be connected by the standard connection hose to a Scotty in-line foam inductor fitted into the hose line behind a standard nozzle or Scotty foam tube.
  • Filled with Croda Class B Foam Concentrate, the Scotty back pack can be fitted to a Scotty in-line foam inductor complete with a 0.5-1.3% variable valve for 3% application.
Also available is an optional 8 litre hip pack. On steep terrains, this unit helps to keep the centre of gravity lower on the firefighter's body, or alternatively it can be worn below a hose pack.
