As Fire Appliances become more complex & larger this introduces a whole new range of Occupational Heath & Safety measures. Fire/Rescue Ladders are normally stowed on top of a Fire Appliance & accessed by climbing onto the roof to release the bracket. Height restrictions are now bringing this practice to a close & in response to this we can supply a number of Ladder Gantries to overcome this problem.

Century 2000 Roller Shutter Doors

For safe and secure stowage of equipment on your appliance, go no further than the Century 200 range of Roller Shutter doors. They are manufactured from prime billet aluminium that is extruded & anodised. The shutter curtain is a 'Box Lath' construction that ensures the back of the shutter is smooth ensuring loose equipment does not jam the shutter operation. The shutter is fully sealed with top, side & latch seals. The latch assembly is an exclusive design that always ensures full contact by gloved or un-gloved hand without the danger of jamming fingers or hands plus a very positive opening & closing mechanism. Full traceability of every individual shutter manufactured ensures a speedy response & minimal vehicle downtime if shutters are damaged and spare parts required.

A number of options are available such as Key locks, Central Locking, 'Shutter Open' Alarm Switches plus 'Litstrip' & 'LED' Cabinet Lighting.
