For use on fire appliances, in industry as a large capacity fire or general purpose reel and large commercial/agricultural spraying or jetting. Meets the most demanding Fire Service standards.
Rugged steel or aluminium construction, with stainless steel fasteners Friction brake adjustable to control hose payout, rewind speed or for stowage. Drum end plates with reinforcing ribs to withstand pressure from hose expansion. Ends rolled to prevent hose damage. Water inlet from left or right hand, please specify at time of order. Heavy duty frame supports drum and hose, robust bearings each end. Geared hand crank rewind provided for manual rewind.
Standard designs/sizes in general production, but we can build to suit the requirements you may have.
Features:
- Fully enclosed wrap-around hose guide rollers available
- Holds High Pressure Hose 25 mm diam, 60 or 90 metre capacity options
- Test Pressure: 4,200 kPa (600 psi), in accordance with NZS4500
- Curved gooseneck outlet, 1" male NH or BSP thread, or threaded to suit customer requirements.
- Hydraulically efficient free-flow swivel gland assembly for water inlet, 1 1/4" male BSP thread
- Finish options: primed, powder coated (red or white) or to customer specifications
Note: A flexible connection must be used between the swivel joint and inlet piping, otherwise warranty is void.
